Placements and More...

As usual we have a busy start to the year. First off we had a couple of interesting guest lecturers in - Terry Smith, a designer at Hookson (who graduated from the course in 2012) and Gerry Farrell (former Creative Director at the Leith Agency). Terry worked with the HNC group on their YCN projects, whilst Gerry did an inspiring talk on creativity and looked over the D&AD New Blood work. 

We're also getting organised for our annual Berlin trip, which this year will include a visit to TLGG - a digital agency in Berlin and a sister company of RAPP. We'll also be attending Transmediale and CTM.

In February, the 4-week work placement programme kicks off for our final year students. Last year, 24 agencies and studios took placements. The response this year from employers able to take on placements, as always, has been fantastic,and hopefully we'll have a finalised list of agencies within the next week or so.
