Yet Another Inspirational Event

Our final mentoring event for this session took place on Wednesday night in the Design Studio at Edinburgh College's Granton Campus, and proved to be yet another inspirational night for all involved.

We hosted a visit from Edinburgh Zoo's Marketing Team, led by Sharon Simpson, who gave extensive and glowing feedback on the recent One Week Agency pitches. Sharon revealed that Team RAPP were the winners, with their augmented reality concept '#zooisland', and RAPP's Art Director Jen Wood was there to celebrate with her winning team. Our students also managed to catch some valuable one-to-one time with the mentors to discuss initial ideas for their final projects.

The College's new Head of Creative Industries, Jon Buglass, was there to lend his support and get a first look at our mentoring programme in action, and we also announced plans for our end-of-year show, which will take place in late May at Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre Bar (more details to follow once the promotional campaign launches).

Zoo Concepts

Earlier this week our intrepid One Week Agency project reached completion as all four student teams pitched their concepts to the Marketing Team at Edinburgh Zoo. This post features a small sample of visuals from each pitch.

One of these ideas will be selected by the client and taken forward to the development stage.
